Dame Andrea Jenkyns DBE is the first elected Mayor of the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority, representing Reform UK. A bold and principled voice in British politics, she brings a wealth of experience from Westminster to champion local priorities across Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, and North East Lincolnshire.

Before becoming Mayor, Andrea served as a Member of Parliament from 2015 to 2024, gaining national recognition for her outspoken stance on national sovereignty, education, and public sector reform. During her parliamentary career, she held key roles, including serving as a Minister in the Department for Education and as a prominent member of influential select committees.

As Mayor, Dame Andrea is committed to delivering on the promises of devolution—ensuring Lincolnshire gets its fair share of funding, infrastructure, and opportunity. Her agenda focuses on empowering local businesses, revitalising town centres, improving transport links, and supporting the agricultural and fishing industries that are vital to the region’s identity.

Andrea is a passionate advocate for common-sense politics, accountability, and restoring public trust in governance. Her decision to join Reform UK reflected her belief in a new political direction for the country—one that puts local people first and challenges the status quo.

Outside politics, Andrea is an accomplished soprano singer and a dedicated animal lover. She was awarded a DBE (Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire) for her public and political service.
